Hotel Bacher

The experience was quite disappointing. The service and the food is good, but the rooms and the hygienic conditions of the place are very bad. Rooms are very small and have no telephones. There is no ventilation or a.c. and it gets extremely hot in the rooms at night (you wake up completely sweaty in the middle of the night). The hotel has a HUGE HYGIENIC PROBLEN WITH FLIES. I have never - ever - seen so many flies covering the food at breakfast, flying all over the tables during breakfast and dinner, and invading the bedrooms. We had literally 25 flies in our room one night and had to spend the whole night trying to kill them to be able to catch some sleep. I also had to spend most of my meals at the hotel holding the fork in one hand and trying to get rid of the flies from my food and table with the other hand. Good quality of service does not mean much when the hygienic conditions of the hotel are so low. I don't recommend the hotel.

Very clean hotel, the dining room staff (3 young girls) is very friendly and polite. The small indoor swimming pool becomes unusable for other guests if used by a couple of families with children. I was offered a standard room with half board, the first surprise came immediately after we entered the room, the bidet was not there. The second arrived the next morning, when on the breakfast table I found a 2 euro receipt relating to the tap water that had arrived the night before for dinner (very poor dinner, the choice will be for every evening between 2 first and two seconds and with a set time of 7 pm) After asking for clarification, I was told that no drinks (not even water) were included with the half board and that the time was seven for everyone. To conclude, I believe that greater transparency is necessary to avoid disappointing your guests.

We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for staying at the Hotel Bacher from January 2nd to January 6th, 2024, so lovingly furnished. Rooms great, breakfast and dinner very tasty. Everyone, no matter who works there, whether boss, service staff or cleaning ladies, everyone is so nice, the location is great. We'll be back, keep it up. A soul lives in this house, you can feel it in every corner of the hotel... THANK YOU Kerstin Ralf and Emma wow wow... 🐶
